Susan Musich, M.Ed.,Â is the executive director and founder of Passport Career. Â For more than 20 years, she has been an international career counselor and coach and has personally coached 10,000+ individuals from more than 180 countries with regard to their global career transitions.
Susan specializes in cross-border career strategies, and frequently speaks at international conferences on topics related to global careers for all skill levels, ranging from college students, MBAs, and Gen Y to mid-career professionals and executives. She has worked in the public, private and nonprofit sectors with organizations that include Accenture, The World Bank/IFC, The George Washington University, the United Nations, the U.S. State Department, the U.S. Peace Corps, and Save the Children.
Susan has written several job search books, such as e-Job Hunting (Pearson), and is the co-author of Your Career Planner, a college text book (Kendall Hunt) used for career planning courses by more than 30 universities and colleges.
Susan is a U.S. national, has lived in Mexico, the Philippines and Costa Rica, and has traveled to over 25 countries for work and research. She is certified as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF), trained extensively as an international career coach, and is officially designated as a Global Mobility Specialist (GMS). She completed her bachelorâ€™s degree in Journalism at Northern Arizona University and her masterâ€™s degree in Education/Counseling and Development at George Mason University.
